The Perfect Gift for the Outdoor Lovin' Mommy to Be!
Do you have someone expecting a little bundle of joy soon and you want to get them a gift they can really use? Along with blankets and onesies, you can't go wrong with a stroller. Once you start looking around you'll find that there is a seemingly endless array of stroller systems available these days. They start with the most basic, and go all the way up to the super fancy, couture style strollers sold in fancy boutiques. When it’s time to buy an umbrella stroller for your precious cargo, the Wrangler All Weather Umbrella Stroller is a perfect choice! It’s much sturdier than the cheapest umbrella strollers, but it doesn’t cost much more than the discount strollers do! This stroller offers lots of helpful and comfortable features that the couture strollers don’t, and won’t cost nearly as much. This stroller opens and folds up quickly and easily, so it’s no hassle to travel with. It’s equipped with roll up fabric on the backrest that covers a mesh seat. When it’s hot outside, the fabric can be rolled up into a headrest, and this allows air to circulate to keep the little ones cool. It also has a canopy to block the sun. This stroller pushes easier than nearly any other stroller in its class, with comfortably padded handles, and it’s even got shock absorbing wheels! Two cargo bags on the side give you a place to stash small toys or snacks, or even extra diapers when you don’t want to carry a diaper bag. The seat also has two positions for extra comfort. Maybe one of the best things about this stroller is the look. Instead of extra cutesy, pastel, baby patterns, this stroller comes in an attractive light blue and grey color scheme…even the most macho of dads won’t mind pushing this stroller around! Thinking Ahead to Camping!
Can you remember the last time you took off on a camping trip? Especially when the snows of winter cover the ground and the high temperature of the day is in the teens - it's hard to imagine having a great time in a tent in the woods. However spring and summer will be here very soon and it will indeed be time to take off and enjoy the wilderness, explore the land and enjoy nature on your own terms. Before camping season arrives, make sure that you have the right equipment to be safe and sound on a camping trip. Good camping starts with a good shelter - make sure you have a good tent set up. Jeep has developed a tent that is just right for any camping trip. The Jeep tent is spacious and built to stand up to all kinds of weather conditions. With a great rain fly, you do not have to worry when you see even the slightest chance of a down pour. For the ultimate for any Jeep owner, you can even attach this incredible tent to the back of your Jeep! Yes, you heard right! This makes for extra storage space where you can keep some of your clothing, supplies and more. Perhaps you know a Jeep owner who has been looking to get out and enjoy a little bit of camping. If so, then such a tent is guaranteed to make a welcomed and well-appreciated gift. No matter what the terrain is or what the weather is bringing your way, your Jeep and tent will ensure that you have a wonderful time! Think Ahead to Those Jeep Road Trips in the Spring!
It's hard to remember when you're looking at ice and snow on the ground, but spring isn't that far away and along with thinking about what you want to put in your garden this year, start considering ways to spruce up your Jeep for spring to get the most out of your road trips. One thing most Jeep owners have in common is that they enjoy getting out in the great outdoors as often as possible. A great addition to your Jeep would be a bike rack so you and your favorite traveling buddy can grab your bikes and go explore new areas that even your Jeep can't reach. Add some front air and side air reflectors to make your Jeep even more aerodynamic. You'll notice a lot less "drag" happening when you're driving just with these additions. Tubular bumpers not only add a rugged look to your Jeep, they also do a great job of protecting the grille on your vehicle. Speaking of grilles, if you're tired of looking at the factory issued black grille on your Jeep Wrangler, swap it out for a shiny new chrome grille. A cab cover is another addition that you'll find a lot of use for. The weather-resistant high quality nylon cap in Black or Silver fits snugly over your Jeep's hard or soft top. Silver color is a sun reflective material that reduces interior temperatures and sun fading. Great for sunny climates. Also will fit with top off to help keep interior clean and dry. Elastic loops attach around taillights and mirrors, and includes two integrated cords that attach to the Jeep to secure the cover under the door area. Folds into a small snap closure bag that is included for easy storage. And those are just a few ideas for making your Jeep look even better for 2007. Let's Talk Making Your Jeep Wrangler Secure in 2008
You can add some great new accessories to your Jeep Wrangler that will make your vehicle even safer both on and off the road. Additionally, some insurance companies will actually give you breaks on your premium for having certain safety devices installed on your Jeep. Since all polices are individual, ask your agent or insurance company if the price breaks will apply to your policy. One great addition no one should be without is a locking gas cap. You simply use the push-click installation and your gas cap is ready to lock. Not only will it ensure your gasoline stays IN, it also ensures that no one adds anything to your gas tank such as corn syrup as kids have been known to do never realizing the true level of damage they cause. You paid good money for your tires and wheels, make sure they stay on your Jeep with a set of wheel locks. Each Wheel Lock kit includes four or five chrome-plated locking nuts, and one exclusive Mopar key that fits your set only. A security system is a must. With car theft at an all time high, it pays more than ever to invest in a security system. The EVS I Security System for Jeeps has a keyless entry. The complete kit includes unique vehicle harness and offers perimeter/interior protection with horn-honk alarm, starter interrupt and dash-mounted LED. Keep your Jeep safe in the new year and add a few security accessories that will ensure you sleep better at night! Labels: accessories, gifts, interior, jeep, jeeps, security, wrangler

All Weather Baby Carrier
Yes, winter is here in full force, but on those few and far between nice days, you can still bundle up baby and take her for a stroll. Jeep has an outstanding stroller that is perfect for walking your favorite paths in a local forest or just around the block looking at the squirrels, neighborhood kids and other activity happening in your area. Babies get bored just like you do and getting out is fun and very stimulating. The stroller is built for comfort and safety, as all Jeep products are. The Wrangler® All-Weather stroller is a lightweight umbrella stroller that has a handy backrest to keep your little one comfortable. In the winter the mesh folds down to keep cold winds from blowing in from the back and in the summer you can roll it up and it creates a great pillow for relaxing or just napping while the mesh lets the air circulate and keep your baby cool and not overheated in the warmer months. It's also made with all terrain as well as shock absorbing front swivel wheels so your stroller will take the bumps and let your baby just enjoy the ride. The canopy is easily adjustable to keep the sun off your little one and there are even two handy cargo side bags for storage of a juice cup, crackers and small snacks in case you want to make your trek more than just a roll around the block. The next time the weather is clear, bundle up your little one and take her out for a stroll. Talk about what you see and make up songs as you go - your little one will love it! Take the Hazards Out of Talking on the Cell Phone When Driving
Almost everyone can relate to this scenario: you're driving along down the street and suddenly someone swerves out in front of you - you speed up just a little to give them "the look" and you see they still don't have a clue you're even there - they're too busy trying to balance a tiny cell phone on their ear and have a conversation while driving! No matter how good your driving skills are, anyone can become distracted and become a road hazard if you attempt to hold a cell phone when driving. Common sense will tell you it's never a good idea to talk on the cell phone when you're driving but sometimes it can't be helped. If you work and especially if you're in a position where you have frequent contact with the public, you're going to be in heavy communication as a result of your job. By the very nature of an emergency, they can't be conveniently scheduled and if you have a personal or business crisis happen; someone will need to reach you immediately. Instead of being a hazard on the road, become the good example. If you have a Jeep year model 2002 or better, you can use some great hands free cell phone technology. UConnect is the exclusive voice-activated, hands-free, in-vehicle communications system for your Jeep and it just uses a small control pad, microphone and speaker. You don't have to take your hands off the wheel of your Jeep to dial or answer you cell phone as it is voice activated. Additionally, the UConnect system will automatically lower or mute your stereo if it is playing so you don't have to fiddle with turning the music down when you're driving. It allows you to store up to 32 names and four numbers per name (128 entries) in the system's phone book, and is flexible enough for an entire family (up to five phones can be linked to the system). With just a little technological addition to your Jeep, it's possible to be a safe and connected driver when you use the hands free technology that allows you to still get important calls but your hands and eyes will be safely on the road. Plan a Romantic Getaway - Yes YOU!
The holiday season is about to swing into high gear soon and you're not going to feel like you have much time for yourself much less your partner - before that happens - take the time for a romantic getaway. Plan on packing the kids off to your parent's house for the weekend and start putting together a fun getaway for just the two of you. Establish some ground rules for the two of you. No discussions of anything to do with work, no worrying about what the kids are doing, cell phones can go along but they are to be in the "silent" mode until you're back home. That way you can see if anyone needs to reach you from back home and ignore any calls from the office. Next, plan where you're going. It's best if you get out of the house. It may seem like a vacation just having the house to yourselves again with the kids gone, but it's also important to get away yourselves and enjoy a new environment. This time of year, you can usually find good deals on vacation rentals as the snowbird traveling season hasn't heated up in most areas and it's considered a "down" time for most vacation rentals. Get a cozy cabin and you can both curl up by the fire at night. You can make this even better by bringing some of your favorite bottles of wine, some light snacks such as a loaf of crusty bread, crackers and cheese, just put them in a cooler in case there isn't a working fridge when you get to the cabin. Candles can set a wonderful mood for romance or you can choose to use hurricane lanterns and turn them down to a cozy light level. Pack away all that you need in an easy to carry bag and keep your trip as light as possible. Just getting back to the basics can breathe new life into a relationship that was feeling a little stale due to the fact you and your sweetheart simply never get a moment of time for yourselves. Don't talk about anything too deep, forget you have jobs and leave your stress factors at home; just enjoy the time you're spending together and you'll find you will reclaim those feelings of love you thought you lost. This is a great way to reclaim your relationship. It's easy to lose touch but a great weekend together can definitely stoke the fires to burn strong again. Start planning your getaway today! Cold Weather is Coming - Are You Prepared in Case You're Stranded?
It doesn't matter if you have the newest model Wrangler or a Jeep that is years and years old. You can get stranded and while you're waiting for help, during the colder months it's essential that you have items available to keep yourself and your family or traveling companions warm until you can get out of the situation. First of all, put together your own little kit and keep it in your Jeep at all times. Put a few thermal blankets, an LED lantern that runs on batteries not fuel, jumper cables, a basic tool kit, band aids, duct tape, electrical tape, a heavy duty tow strap, road side flairs, a "Help Call Police" sign for your windshield another type of sign that gets a quick response from passing motorists is "Children Inside - Call Police", portable warmers (like hunters and military personnel use) and some people even pick up MRE's (military ready to eat meals) and put them in their Jeep-just in case. The MRE's have a shelf life of years so you can toss a few in your kit and forget about them, additionally many MRE's have a self heating feature so you can warm your insides while you're waiting for help. In the event you are stranded and you are unable to get a signal on your cell phone, you may wind up spending the night in a cold and dark place. Also make sure a crank battery is part of your kit. You can recharge a cellphone, power lights and other items, even if your battery is dead. Just a few turns of the crank and you've generated electricity. If you're traveling with kids, they will feel a lot better if you have a lantern handy and everyone can cuddle up with extra blankets. If there is a chance of traffic on the road you're on - put up the sign in your windshield and you can use a roadside flair to make sure your vehicle is visible to any traffic passing by. You can stay warm by popping open the warmers and given one to each child. The warmers work by creating a chemical reaction that will generate heat for roughly two hours. They are available in most military and outdoor supply stores. When you're stocking your roadside kit - stock enough for an overnight stay for at least 3-4 people so you have enough to keep everyone warm throughout the night if you may be stranded that long. There are a lot of things you can do to prepare for the unexpected. Your Jeep was built to handle the most extreme of conditions, however there may come a situation where are you stranded for a while and it's for those times you need to be prepared so you can get through being stranded in safety and a minimum of stress. A Guide Along the Way That Never Sleeps
One of the best things about owning a Jeep is you're never forced to stay on the paved road and you can exploring and find your own roads to travel. If you love to camp and spend time outdoors you can take advantage of the many 4-wheeling trails made for Jeeps and explore the wilder side of the trail on your own terms. A great way to spend a weekend with your family is to bring along the tailgate attaching tent, your Jeep bicycles and find a remote place in the woods to go camping. Forget the crowded campgrounds and find a place where your family can camp in quiet, peaceful solitude. Many national forests and state managed lands have campsites scattered around many areas of the forest and some are remote enough that unless you have the 4-wheel drive power of a Jeep, you won't be able to make to the campsite. You don't need a lot to go camping. Just your tent, light sources such as a couple of LED lanterns, food that is stored in a couple of coolers, water, personal toiletries and materials for a contained fire to gather around at night. You can spend a fun weekend camping and get away from the hassles of everyday life, the yard work, cell phones, extra-curricular activities and stresses from your work life can all be placed on hold as you enjoy rediscovering spending time with your family. http://store.yahoo.com/yhst-83673118800219/trgunasy.html">A trail guide is a very handy gadget to along as you explore. It can actually show you where you are on the trail and what to expect. Let your Jeep show you what it can really do and the next weekend outing you plan for your family - make it a wilderness adventure that everyone will enjoy and when you get lost, it will be on purpose! Don't Loose Your Apples!
One thing that you can never really be sure of is how various items will be able to be transported in your Jeep Wrangler. While you are certainly not going to be off-roading each and every second of the day in your ride, there will be times where you don't want to have all of your goods tossed around. This same idea reigns true when you are enjoying various outings such as apple picking with your loved ones. Getting out to check out some of the incredible foliage this fall will surely be on your list of things to do, right along with gathering up a couple of bags of apples from the local orchard. While a Jeep Wrangler is one of the toughest rides that you can get your hands on today, there is often a problem when it comes to keeping your storage area secure. Even the slightest bumps or turns can upset the apple cart, so to speak! The Add-A-Trunk feature is really a must for anyone who wants to keep their stuff in a safe place each and every time they are out and about. Whether it is a few bags of apples or even some valuables that you want out of sight while you are away from the vehicle, this addition is a must. Mounting simply in the rear of your Jeep Wrangler, this extra space can even be locked for added security. With easy installation and quick removal if necessary, this trunk feature can make your already treasured Jeep Wrangler even more precious. Never Leave Home Without a Tent
It might be true that a Jeep can take you just about anyplace imaginable. However, once you're there, it will make life a whole lot easier if you can at least stay the night. And, having a tent that attaches to the jeep will come in handy if it's monsoon season in the location where you've chose to camp under the stars. The 10' by 10' by ten blue and gray tent is the perfect selection for the camper that wants to set up shop in a hurry. You get some great accessories for this nifty and durable tent. It includes full rain fly, inside pockets, storage bag, and an overhead storage net. And, when you get the urge to zip out on some new adventure, the tent is also designed to stand alone when detached from your jeep. Of course, you may not set out to spend the night under the stars, but it sure won't hurt anything to be fully prepared. It's a great accessory that's easy on the wallet or purse as well. So, if you own a Liberty, Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Patriot, or Jeep Compass, the great road trip is just around the corner. And, it pretty much frees the adventurer to plan that road trip most anytime of the year. Like the Jeep itself, the blue and gray tent is durable and dependable when and where it counts. Don't leave home without it. It's just as important as the safety equipment or any other accessories needed for a fun holiday or excursion about the country. Cool Accessories for Your 2007 Jeep Wrangler
Got a new 2007 Jeep Wrangler? There are a lot of cool accessories that you can add that will make your road tripping drives even more enjoyable. A Trailguide Navigation System is a wonderful addition to your Jeep Wrangler. This unit will not only tell you where you are but how to get there. If you love to get out for weekend jaunts in your Jeep Wrangler and explore new areas, this is a must have as maps aren't always accurate but your Trailguide is updated via satellite and will always have the most accurate information. Security is always a concern. A locking gas cap will do the dual duty of both keeping your gas from being siphoned and also it will keep vandalism from occurring on your Jeep Wrangler by someone putting something malicious such as sugar or corn syrup into your gas tank. It's a literal snap to put into place and then you can have peace of mind. If you'd like more security, you can install a car alarm easily and sleep a little easier as you'll be alerted via a loud noise if anyone decides to break into your vehicle. Remote start is another handy addition to your Jeep Wrangler. When it's cold or rainy outside and you'd like to get into a warmed up car ready to go, just point your remote starter (after installing the starter unit) and you're ready to go. It's easy to install and easy to use. And those are just three fun accessories for your Jeep Wrangler, make your weekend road trips even more fun by using one of these additions.
