Keep Your Carpets Looking New!
You bought a Jeep because you were making an investment in your vehicle. You wanted something that would not only be good for daily driving but road tripping too. You take your prized Jeep in for regular oil changes and tune ups along with making sure that any problems are addressed quickly in order to keep it running smoothly. However, do you take just as much care when it comes to keeping the interior in tip top shape? Most Jeep owners are the kind of people who like to get out and take advantage of everything that Mother Nature has to offer. This will mean heading out for road trips all year long and even braving the elements when the cold and bitter winter weather strikes. While you might have no problem at all when cutting through the snow and ice with your Jeep, you might find it to be a bit difficult trying to keep this mess from coming inside on your feet! When you are looking to protect the carpets on the floor of your Jeep, help is just as easy as laying down a set of slush-style floor mats. These great floor mats are just the thing that you need in order to hold all of the mess in one place without it being able to escape and stain your carpeting. The floor mats are made from durable material with deep grooves that are just right for keeping your carpet clean all year long. You can even order the slush-style floor mats in either dark taupe or dark slate to match your Jeep's interior. Labels: accessories, camp-out, children, dogs, interior, jeep, jeeps, travel

The GPS units of today up connected and updated via satellite so where there are road closures or other changes to your route, you'll be notified within minutes of the changes and the computer will even offer you alternate routes. Another Great Jeep Grand Cherokee Accessory the Kids Will Love
You may have come to dread long car trips with your children if you happen to be a parent who is always on the go. It is a really good chance that you have to deal with bickering in the backseat as well as the constant and popular question of 'Are we there yet?'. If you have ever wondered how other parents deal with carting their children around, you may want to ask them where they got the great DVD player that they have mounted from the roof for the rear seats! Your Jeep Grand Cherokee is a fabulous vehicle, without a doubt. However, when you add in the awesome feature of a DVD Rear Seat Video Player, then it becomes a true godsend and a real dream to take on long trips with the kids. Your children can enjoy all of their favorite movies on a crystal clear LCD display that gets mounted right onto the roof. If you don't want to listen to their movies, you can even get wireless headphones for them to use! This means that you can enjoy your music, which they may consider lame, and they can have their entertainment in the back. It is really a win-win situation for everyone involved! What you may not know is that there are even input capabilities for such items as video game systems, camcorders and even CD players. Once you add such a beautiful piece of equipment to your Jeep Grand Cherokee, driving may just become your most favorite thing to do! Labels: accessories, children, jeep, jeeps, travel

The Perfect Gift for the Outdoor Lovin' Mommy to Be!
Do you have someone expecting a little bundle of joy soon and you want to get them a gift they can really use? Along with blankets and onesies, you can't go wrong with a stroller. Once you start looking around you'll find that there is a seemingly endless array of stroller systems available these days. They start with the most basic, and go all the way up to the super fancy, couture style strollers sold in fancy boutiques. When it’s time to buy an umbrella stroller for your precious cargo, the Wrangler All Weather Umbrella Stroller is a perfect choice! It’s much sturdier than the cheapest umbrella strollers, but it doesn’t cost much more than the discount strollers do! This stroller offers lots of helpful and comfortable features that the couture strollers don’t, and won’t cost nearly as much. This stroller opens and folds up quickly and easily, so it’s no hassle to travel with. It’s equipped with roll up fabric on the backrest that covers a mesh seat. When it’s hot outside, the fabric can be rolled up into a headrest, and this allows air to circulate to keep the little ones cool. It also has a canopy to block the sun. This stroller pushes easier than nearly any other stroller in its class, with comfortably padded handles, and it’s even got shock absorbing wheels! Two cargo bags on the side give you a place to stash small toys or snacks, or even extra diapers when you don’t want to carry a diaper bag. The seat also has two positions for extra comfort. Maybe one of the best things about this stroller is the look. Instead of extra cutesy, pastel, baby patterns, this stroller comes in an attractive light blue and grey color scheme…even the most macho of dads won’t mind pushing this stroller around! Start Planning Roadtrips With the Kids!
Today was Groundhog Day and in true form, the groundhog appeared today and saw his shadow - which portends six more weeks of winter weather. However, it's not too early to start planning road trips and if you have kids, make the ride even more fun by adding some cool accessories to your Jeep Compass. Jeeps are dependable, rugged and will get you from any point A to point B with ease that is unmatched; this is one of the reason Jeep owners are so loyal to the brand. Now Jeep has come out with an entire line of accessories that make the ride sheer luxury. When warm weather arrives, take off for the beach with your family. Another cool idea is to plan a camping trip and you can even get a jeep tent that will hook up to the back of your vehicle and enable your kids to watch a DVD or play a video game after dark. Many parents pack a travel pack for their kids so they don't have to keep stopping for snacks along the way. Pack some sandwiches, low mess fruits such as apples, bananas or pears and veggies such as carrots all make great munching that is also healthy. Pack plenty of water and/or juices for the kids. This will keep their energy up and is a far better idea than trapping yourself in a vehicle with kids that get sugared up candy and cookies and then are bouncing off the walls of the Jeep for most of the road trip and then crashing when you finally arrive. Traveling with kids can be a learning experience for your kids and you can make the getting there part even more enjoyable by planning ahead to keep your kids busy for the ride and that way you won't have to keep answering the ages old question of , "Are we there yet?". Think Ahead to Those Jeep Road Trips in the Spring!
It's hard to remember when you're looking at ice and snow on the ground, but spring isn't that far away and along with thinking about what you want to put in your garden this year, start considering ways to spruce up your Jeep for spring to get the most out of your road trips. One thing most Jeep owners have in common is that they enjoy getting out in the great outdoors as often as possible. A great addition to your Jeep would be a bike rack so you and your favorite traveling buddy can grab your bikes and go explore new areas that even your Jeep can't reach. Add some front air and side air reflectors to make your Jeep even more aerodynamic. You'll notice a lot less "drag" happening when you're driving just with these additions. Tubular bumpers not only add a rugged look to your Jeep, they also do a great job of protecting the grille on your vehicle. Speaking of grilles, if you're tired of looking at the factory issued black grille on your Jeep Wrangler, swap it out for a shiny new chrome grille. A cab cover is another addition that you'll find a lot of use for. The weather-resistant high quality nylon cap in Black or Silver fits snugly over your Jeep's hard or soft top. Silver color is a sun reflective material that reduces interior temperatures and sun fading. Great for sunny climates. Also will fit with top off to help keep interior clean and dry. Elastic loops attach around taillights and mirrors, and includes two integrated cords that attach to the Jeep to secure the cover under the door area. Folds into a small snap closure bag that is included for easy storage. And those are just a few ideas for making your Jeep look even better for 2007. All Weather Baby Carrier
Yes, winter is here in full force, but on those few and far between nice days, you can still bundle up baby and take her for a stroll. Jeep has an outstanding stroller that is perfect for walking your favorite paths in a local forest or just around the block looking at the squirrels, neighborhood kids and other activity happening in your area. Babies get bored just like you do and getting out is fun and very stimulating. The stroller is built for comfort and safety, as all Jeep products are. The Wrangler® All-Weather stroller is a lightweight umbrella stroller that has a handy backrest to keep your little one comfortable. In the winter the mesh folds down to keep cold winds from blowing in from the back and in the summer you can roll it up and it creates a great pillow for relaxing or just napping while the mesh lets the air circulate and keep your baby cool and not overheated in the warmer months. It's also made with all terrain as well as shock absorbing front swivel wheels so your stroller will take the bumps and let your baby just enjoy the ride. The canopy is easily adjustable to keep the sun off your little one and there are even two handy cargo side bags for storage of a juice cup, crackers and small snacks in case you want to make your trek more than just a roll around the block. The next time the weather is clear, bundle up your little one and take her out for a stroll. Talk about what you see and make up songs as you go - your little one will love it! Keeping Your Jeep Interior Looking Fabulous
You keep the outside of your Jeep looking fantastic, want to make it easy to keep the interior looking great too? It's easier than you think and you can do it one of two ways: (1) Detail your interior on a regular basis which takes a little elbow grease and time. (2) Protect your interior from the get-go by using floor mats and cargo liners. If you choose the detailing route, there are three main types of cleaning you will need to do on an occasional basis. 1- Regular Detail Cleaning - This entails using a good cleaner to remove spots and giving your interior the once over. A good foamy cleaner is often one of the best to lift out the dirt without having to use a lot of arm work. 2-Speed Cleaning - This is the mode many people clean their interiors in. You will use this when your boss says you need to pick up an important client in oh, say 30 minutes. You won't have time to do a ton of cleaning, so just clean any major spots and use a self drying no rinse foam cleaner that will freshen your car's interior. 3-Oops Cleaning - Parents know the dreaded , "Uh-ooooohhhhhh" from the back seat means their child just dumped their small drink or perhaps opened a packet of ketchup in the backseat - either way - you now have some cleaning to do. This will usually require using a carpet cleaner to lift and clean the spill or "oops" as soon as possible so it doesn't set in. Or once again, you can forget all that fuss and work and just use slush mats and a good cargo liner made for your Jeep! Labels: accessories, baby, children, dogs, interior, jeep, jeeps, travel

Time With a Little Something Extra
Want to get someone a great looking clock for a holiday gift but you want it to be a little more than just a clock? Consider the cool Jeep-Chrysler Hemi Weather Wall Clock. It has a sleek gray design and is emblazoned with the official Hemi Logo at the 9 o'clock mark. A wall clock makes a great gift because it's not a large space commitment on a wall and the gray design of this piece will let it meld seamlessly into almost any interior design. This is also great for a garage area clock, no more working through dinner time or the start of a favorite movie when you get involved in those weekend warrior projects! The black hour and minute hands make this clock easy to read from a distance or at a quick glance. The red second hand is a sweep movement and will keep the time accurately for years to come. And there's something special about this clock. There is the addition of humidity and temperature gauges. It's easy to learn to predict the weather basics if you watch the gauges. Also, knowing the humidity levels can be useful if you engage in activities such as auto detailing, painting or other types of outdoor activities that can be slowed down by high humidity. Give the car lover on your holiday list a gift they use all year around and really enjoy, give them the gift of a cool Hemi wall clock! Labels: accessories, children, gifts, interior, jeep, jeeps

Is Your Jeep Compass Roadtrip Ready?
The holiday season is here and at no other time of year besides summer vacation are you more likely to spend a lot of hours on the road traveling in your Jeep Compass. Making those hours pass comfortably is a priority and you'll be pleased to know that there are a number of great interior accessories that you can add that make driving your Jeep Compass even more comfortable. Starting around the driver's seat you can add an aluminum pedal kit that will not only look great, the holed design makes it easier for your shoe to grip the pedal and reduces chances of slippage. Additionally you can add a shift knob. If you opted for an automatic transmission, you won't use it nearly as often as someone who enjoys driving a stick, but it's great when the shifter is comfortable when you grab it. If you live in or you're driving to a bright and sunny area of the country, install a reflective sunshade that will keep the sun from making your steering wheel into an object that will feel as though your hands are being cooked when you get in your Jeep after it's been sitting in the sun. The reflective sunshade folds up when not in use and will fit under your seat or other storage area in your Jeep Compass until duty calls. Got kids? Then you know that stains and spills are going to happen and you can keep your original seats looking like new with a pair of seat covers. They fit snugly and are designed exclusively to fit your Jeep Compass. The seat cushions add another layer of fabric and will make the time you spend sitting in your Compass getting to your destination just a little more comfortable. It's easy to make your Jeep Compass more comfortable for road tripping with just a few extra additions for your holiday traveling! Labels: accessories, children, interior, jeep, jeeps, travel

Buying a Gift for a Teen or Tween
It can be hard to find gifts for the Tween and Teen crowd. If you have someone in the 11-12 age group or age 13 and above - you have been racking your brain trying to come up with a gift idea they will really use and appreciate. This is the age that kids start to grow out of only wanting toys and clothing and personal items to help them look their best are often appreciated. Vanity mirrors for girls and gift certificates to "cool" clothing stores are often considered hot items that these age groups enjoy. A gift certificate for music downloads will also be very appreciated. Another gift that will get a big "Thank you" is a watch. A watch that isn't emblazoned with a cartoon character or loud rainbow colors that smacks of a "child's" watch will be very much appreciated. Go for a cool retro-look and you will have a gift that the Teen or Tween on your holiday list will adore. The Women's Retro 3 watch is small and unassuming, yet is durable and sturdy and will last for years to come. Some of the special features include a stainless steel case for added strength and a comfortable leather band. It has the functions of hours, minutes and seconds and the date window is located at 3 o'clock. The ultra-luminescent hands/numbers make this watch easy to read even in low lighting and it comes with a battery with a 3-year life. Additionally, if your Tween or Teen is a little forgetful, it's okay if this watch is worn when taking a shower or she jumps in the pool without thinking - it's water resistant to 5 atmospheres. Get that special young person a great gift they'll really enjoy all year round this year - make it a watch! Labels: accessories, children, gifts, watch

Little Tikes Love Jeep Trikes
It can be frustrating to be a toddler. Too big for the riding toys from a year ago and still just too small to ride a bicycle with the bigger kids. If you have a little one this is too big for a little push-along riding toy and too little for a bicycle, there is a happy solution that will keep your kiddo smiling all year round; the Jeep Jerry Can Trike is a perfect fit for kids that want a riding toy but aren't big enough for a bicycle just yet. Riding a tricycle is easy and requires very little balance. If your little one can sit up in a chair without toppling out, they have all the balance they need to operate a tricycle. This tricycle also has some fun features that your child will love. The rear mounted jerry can opens for storage and will hold all the "treasures" your little one finds outside. The saddle seat on this tricycle is very comfortable and the handles have easy grip so little hands don't slip off. The knobby wheels provide for extra traction if your child encounters loose gravel or sand when they are out riding and the rubberized pedals make it easy to keep their feet on. Also, this tricycle has a replica Jeep® grille and fenders and also has the fun edition of built in electronic sounds and lights. Even a tricycle should only operated under supervision, make sure your child has someone watching them whenever they are riding. Your little one may not be old enough to roll with the big kids, but they can certainly sound and look like they are on a Jeep Jerry Can Trike! Labels: baby, children, outdoors

Cold Weather is Coming - Are You Prepared in Case You're Stranded?
It doesn't matter if you have the newest model Wrangler or a Jeep that is years and years old. You can get stranded and while you're waiting for help, during the colder months it's essential that you have items available to keep yourself and your family or traveling companions warm until you can get out of the situation. First of all, put together your own little kit and keep it in your Jeep at all times. Put a few thermal blankets, an LED lantern that runs on batteries not fuel, jumper cables, a basic tool kit, band aids, duct tape, electrical tape, a heavy duty tow strap, road side flairs, a "Help Call Police" sign for your windshield another type of sign that gets a quick response from passing motorists is "Children Inside - Call Police", portable warmers (like hunters and military personnel use) and some people even pick up MRE's (military ready to eat meals) and put them in their Jeep-just in case. The MRE's have a shelf life of years so you can toss a few in your kit and forget about them, additionally many MRE's have a self heating feature so you can warm your insides while you're waiting for help. In the event you are stranded and you are unable to get a signal on your cell phone, you may wind up spending the night in a cold and dark place. Also make sure a crank battery is part of your kit. You can recharge a cellphone, power lights and other items, even if your battery is dead. Just a few turns of the crank and you've generated electricity. If you're traveling with kids, they will feel a lot better if you have a lantern handy and everyone can cuddle up with extra blankets. If there is a chance of traffic on the road you're on - put up the sign in your windshield and you can use a roadside flair to make sure your vehicle is visible to any traffic passing by. You can stay warm by popping open the warmers and given one to each child. The warmers work by creating a chemical reaction that will generate heat for roughly two hours. They are available in most military and outdoor supply stores. When you're stocking your roadside kit - stock enough for an overnight stay for at least 3-4 people so you have enough to keep everyone warm throughout the night if you may be stranded that long. There are a lot of things you can do to prepare for the unexpected. Your Jeep was built to handle the most extreme of conditions, however there may come a situation where are you stranded for a while and it's for those times you need to be prepared so you can get through being stranded in safety and a minimum of stress. A Guide Along the Way That Never Sleeps
One of the best things about owning a Jeep is you're never forced to stay on the paved road and you can exploring and find your own roads to travel. If you love to camp and spend time outdoors you can take advantage of the many 4-wheeling trails made for Jeeps and explore the wilder side of the trail on your own terms. A great way to spend a weekend with your family is to bring along the tailgate attaching tent, your Jeep bicycles and find a remote place in the woods to go camping. Forget the crowded campgrounds and find a place where your family can camp in quiet, peaceful solitude. Many national forests and state managed lands have campsites scattered around many areas of the forest and some are remote enough that unless you have the 4-wheel drive power of a Jeep, you won't be able to make to the campsite. You don't need a lot to go camping. Just your tent, light sources such as a couple of LED lanterns, food that is stored in a couple of coolers, water, personal toiletries and materials for a contained fire to gather around at night. Mom, Dad, Are We There Yet?
If you have children then you have already been asked this question more than you could have ever expected for a lifetime. There is just something that is programmed within kids that they just cannot seem to wait for anything. When you are out and about for road trips or even quick runs to the mall or the grocery store with your children in your Jeep Commander, there must be a better way to keep them occupied than having to tell them every two minutes how many miles there are until you all reach your chosen destination. While the thought of a DVD player in the vehicle may not sound like a good idea to some parents, the smart and now very happy parents have already taken the step to have one of these beauties installed in their Jeep Commander. Ready to play their favorite DVDs and keep them occupied for hours and hours while you are out on the road, this is the kind of purchase that you will always be able to justify. You may be wondering how you are going to be able to keep your sanity while having to listen to a children's sing-along movie or even some crazy pre-teen love story over and over again while you are riding. Well, keep in mind that you can actually bypass the sound on this incredible find by having your kids listen to the action through wireless headphones! Could there be anything sweeter than that while you are enjoying each and every outing in your Jeep Commander? Labels: accessories, camp-out, children, interior, jeep, jeeps, travel

Prepare Your Jeep Liberty For Autumn
Along with the beautiful Autumn weather, you are going to see an influx of outings and events that you are going to want to head out to experience with your family in your Jeep Liberty. Since you take your Jeep all over the place when it comes to adventures and outings, there is nothing smarter than outfitting your interior with some great pieces and gadgets to make your excursions run smoothly. During this time of the year, you are going to be heading off to pick apples with your kids, buying various decorations for the inside as well as the outside of your home and of course taking them out to trick or treat when Halloween arrives. Having the proper storage areas for all of these occurrences will be key to keeping your Jeep Liberty in tip-top shape. This is the time to prepare ahead and get a brand new cargo area liner to fit right in the back. With a quick and easy attachment feature, you won't even have to fuss with this addition during installation. This is the perfect way to enjoy all of the outings that you want along with proper storage space without having to worry about scratching or dinging up the back of your precious Jeep Liberty. Think Ahead to the Holidays
Shopping for the holidays can be easy, just as long as you know what you need to be buying for people ahead of time. However, it is not always as easy as you would like it to be if you have a couple of people on your holiday gift list that are really difficult to shop for. If they happen to be a Jeep fanatic though, you might just see that shopping for them will be the easiest thing that you will ever do! There are literally tons of incredible items that you can purchase for the Jeep lover on your holiday shopping list. You can pretty much shop for everything Jeep related including accessories for their particular Jeep model, amazing Jeep gear complete with that Jeep logo that everyone knows and loves and even interesting gift ideas that you can only find when you are shopping for authentic Jeep goods. If you are still having a hard time picking out something that will make a lasting impression for your Jeep lover this holiday season, you can always go along with a handy Jeep gift certificate. This way, they can actually go ahead and do their own shopping, having the ability to pick out just the perfect pieces to add to their gear collection or even use it toward something that they are looking to accessorize their beloved Jeep with. When the thought of giving and incredible and memorable gift is on the top of your holiday to-do list, shopping with Jeep is a great answer! Ways to Entertain the Kids In Your Jeep Grand Cherokee
You don't have to dread long car trips with your kids. If your family is like most, you're "wired" and have DVDs, CDs, computers, laptops, video games and more running throughout the day and your kids don't like to be without their technology. One such solution for keeping the kiddos entertained is found in a rear seat mounting video player. Not only can your kids take along their favorite movies for the trip, but it also plays CDs and will allow for plug ins so they can play their video games on the go too! Once you add this little gem to your Jeep Grand Cherokee, road tripping may just be your most favorite thing to do. Labels: accessories, children, interior, travel

Get Your Little One Outside With a Jeep Trike
Obesity for children is at an epidemic rate and the earlier good activity habits are learned, the less of a chance your child has for becoming a statistic. If you have a kiddo that is just too small for a bicycle but wants to play along with the bigger kids, there is a happy solution that will keep your little one active and playing all year round; the Jeep Jerry Can Trike is a perfect fit for kids that are big enough for a riding toy but too little for a bicycle. For most children, riding a tricycle is easy and because of the stability of the rear tires in conjunction to the large front tire - very little balance is actually required and the child will acquire the necessary balance skills through riding a tricycle to graduate to a bicycle when he or she is older. The only skill your little one needs to have mastered is to ability to sit up in a chair on their own. In addition to being easy to learn to drive, this tricycle also has some fun features that your little one will truly enjoy such as the rear mounted jerry can that opens for storage and will hold all the "treasures" your little one finds outside. It goes without saying that your child should only ride a tricycle under adult or other responsible person supervision. Your little one may not really be old enough to roll with the bigger kids but they can look and feel the part along with getting great exercise, with their own Jeep Trike. Keep Your Carpets Nice in Your Jeep
One thing about the summertime, if you own a Jeep - you're on the go. If you're like most vehicle owners, you do your best to keep your mode of transportation running in tip-top shape. Your vehicle gets regular oil changes and tune ups and when there's the occasional problem, you get it fixed before it turns into a larger problem. Since you keep under the hood running so well, you may neglect the interior of your Jeep a little. It's easy to do if you're a busy person, however there are a few items that can keep your Jeep looking as sharp inside as outside and under the hood. First of all, invest in an interior litter bag. This is a must, especially if you have kids. It will help keep those little papers, wrappers and other items that seem to just fall off kids and junk up the inside of your Jeep. Another great addition to your Jeep will be carpet mats. Used in the floor of your Jeep, they will keep slushy, muddy feet (and paws if your favorite canine companion is a frequent passenger) from marring up your interior carpeting and keeping your interior looking nice. Installation is easy - you just lay down a set of slush-style floor mats and your interior carpets will be protected. No matter what time of year, these mats will do a good job of keeping the dirt, grime, dirty snow and mud from getting tracked in and ground into your carpeting. The grooves in the mats hold the slush in place and as the mats get dirty, simply take them out and hose them off and once dry - place back in your jeep. You can even order the slush-style floor mats in either dark taupe or dark slate to match your Jeep's interior. Labels: accessories, children, dogs, interior, jeep, jeeps, travel

Eliminate Clutter And Rolling Items With A Cargo Tote
Having a Jeep is an incredible experience that is definitely cherished by all of those who are lucky enough to own one. However, when it comes to transporting items, you will find that they can make their way around the back of your Jeep due to the movement of the ride. If you wished that you had the perfect way to contain anything that you are transporting in the back of your Jeep, it may just be about time that you invested in a cargo tote. Made just right for just about any Jeep model, the collapsible cargo tote is a fabulous way to store items while you are on the road. The next time you are on the way home from shopping at the grocery store, you will see that such a cargo tote in the back of your Jeep will be an easy way to keep everything in its place. No longer will you have to worry about produce getting jarred out of the bag, rolling all around the back of your Jeep! As if having a nice place to store your items wasn't enough, you also have the ability to fold the cargo tote down if necessary. There are even convenient dividers that will snap into place whenever you have the need to separate the items that you are transporting. Sporting equipment from your child's game, camping gear, groceries, roadside emergency gear and more are all just right to be stored in this collapsible cargo tote. Baby Gear - Jeep Style!
There is a seemingly endless array of stroller systems available these days. They start with the most basic, and go all the way up to the super fancy, couture style strollers sold in fancy boutiques. When it's time to buy an umbrella stroller for your precious cargo, the Wrangler All Weather Umbrella Stroller is a perfect choice! It's much sturdier than the cheapest umbrella strollers, but it doesn't cost much more than the discount strollers do! This stroller offers lots of helpful and comfortable features that the couture strollers don't, and won't cost nearly as much. This stroller opens and folds up quickly and easily, so it's no hassle to travel with. It's equipped with roll up fabric on the backrest that covers a mesh seat. When it's hot outside, the fabric can be rolled up into a headrest, and this allows air to circulate to keep the little ones cool. It also has a canopy to block the sun. This stroller pushes easier than nearly any other stroller in its class, with comfortably padded handles, and it's even got shock absorbing wheels! Two cargo bags on the side give you a place to stash small toys or snacks, or even extra diapers when you don't want to carry a diaper bag. The seat also has two positions for extra comfort. Maybe one of the best things about this stroller is the look. Instead of extra cutesy, pastel, baby patterns, this stroller comes in an attractive light blue and gray color scheme…even the most macho of dads won't mind pushing this stroller around! Planning a Road Trip With Kids
Depending on how you plan it, traveling with kids can either be a pain or a pleasure. No matter what the ages of your kids are, there are some things you can do to make a long road trip a lot more pleasurable. First of all, make sure everyone is comfortable. Your Jeep already has a comfortable ride, you can further make the kids comfortable by letting them bring along a favorite pillow or blanket. If you have little ones that have trouble sleeping in new places, having an object from home might be the ticket for getting a good night's sleep. Next, make sure they have something to do during the trip. Younger children won't be as engrossed in a book as they might be a DVD. If you haven't considered it before, think about installing a rear seat DVD player. It allows the kids to watch what they like and they can wear headphones to block out the sound from distracting the driver. Snacks are another plus to bring alone. Children get hungry and hungry children get crabby. You can avoid an emotional outburst caused by food if you pack some easy take along snacks for the road. Sandwiches, bags of chips, jerky, soft drinks in cans, bottled water and fruits that aren't messy such as apples and bananas are all good choices to pack along on a road trip. You can make traveling with children a breeze with just a little preparation on your part. Use these tips and make your next road trip an easy one! Labels: children, travel

Safety Basics for Trikes and Bikes
With warmer weather approaching, the kids will be riding their bikes and trikes outside. Take a minute and brush up on the safety basics for both. Trikes Little ones that are riding tricycles should never ride them unsupervised. It's too easy for a curious toddler to ride their tricycle into the street "just to see what will happen" as toddlers tend to do; and because of their small stature- it will be almost impossible for a motorist to see your child. The result can be tragic and completely avoidable as long as the child is watched while riding. A small child will have hours of fun on their tricycle, just make sure to teach them the safety basics and give them a boundary to ride within. Bicycles When your child is older and has outgrown their tricycle; they will want a bicycle of their own. By the time your child has a bicycle, he or she should have demonstrated that they are capable of following instructions, thinking of their own safety along with the safety of others and understanding boundaries if you have a particular area that you only want your child to ride in. A helmet is more than a good idea for any child riding a bicycle, in many areas of the country it's the law. Your child should be comfortable riding their bike and understand to be on the lookout for cars at all times. Let your kids have fun outdoors, riding bikes and trikes is great exercise for growing bodies and with a little safety instruction, they can have a great, safe time! Labels: children

Jeep Traveling With Kids
Although you may have always been a fan of taking your Jeep out for rides in the wilderness with your friends, once you have children you might find that family trips are more of what you are into. No matter what the circumstance, a great family road trip is made a whole lot easier when you are driving a Jeep. You have all of the dependability that you crave as well as plenty of room to hold all of the necessities that your family will need. Are you taking the Jeep off to the beach? Perhaps you have a cool camping trip planned and you are going to bring along your tent. There are lots of incredible things that you can do that will definitely make a decent amount of memories that both you and your children can hold onto for years and years. However, what are you going to do when the kids are getting crazy in the Jeep and beginning to make messes? Luckily, there are plenty of great Jeep accessories that can help you to make every family trip a terrific one. No matter what your budget may be, you are sure to find a sweet DVD and monitor setup that your kids can fall in love with over and over again each and every time that you hit the open road. Pop in one of their favorite movies and you are in for a quiet and pleasant ride for all. To take care of any messes, you can always look into getting a pouch to hang on the back of the front seats to organize their toys or even hold trash. Labels: children, jeep, travel
