A Cool Watch for Mom

Searching for the perfect gift for mom for this Mother's Day? Try a watch she will wear and use every single day. By this time in life, most Moms have a "good" watch that is probably yellow or white gold, load with diamonds and maybe a few other choice gems and it's a beautiful jewelry piece to wear for very special occasions. However, Mom might want a watch she wear every day that will look great and keep time just as well, that's where Jeep watches come in.

Jeep has a cool line of watches that will fit the personality for every Mom on earth.

The Sky Collection has an earthy toned line of watches Post Optionsthat is great for Mom's that like the basics in a watch and enjoy the simply elegant styles in life. The Trail Collection has the same great designs and also has watches with added addition of a handy (any tiny) compass right in the strap of the watch.

For the mom that thinks things never go out of style and definitely marches to her own drummer, the Retro collection of watches was made especially for her shining personality. The Retro collection is funky and yet very functional.

The Outdoors Collection of watches is outstanding and very functional from its luminescent dial the tiny compass in the band just like in the Trail Collection watches. The Earth Colors collection of watches includes some beautifully designed watches in earth tones that will meld into any outfit Mom chooses to wear. Does Mom love to dive? A diving watch will come in very handy! The watches are pressurized and water resistant to a full 20 atmospheres of pressure.

This Mother's Day give your Mom the gift of a fun and functional watch that she can wear 365 days a year and know it will look as fabulous as it runs!

Detail Your Jeep Interior the Easy Way

After a winter of being shut up, your Jeep could probably use a little freshening up but you've probably also found yourself putting it off because you thought it would be a ton of work. The good news is that it's a whole lot easier than you think when you know some short cuts.

First of all, vacuum the interior of your Jeep throughly. This means vacuum the corners, cracks and crevices everywhere. If there's dirt, it will basically turn to mud if it gets wet so the idea is to get it out of your Jeep when it's dry.

Next, attack any spots in your upholstery and carpeting with a dab of cleaner and a brush. You can remove 99.9% of stains in this way. The cleaner will loosen the dirt's hold on the carpet and upholstery fibers and the brush will do the work of further knocking everything loose.

After spot cleaning, just use your interior cleaner over your carpets to freshen them up and then vacuum your Jeep's interior one last time after it dries and you'll have a clean Jeep that smells great!

2 Cold Weather Must Haves for Your Jeep!

Yes, it's true that winter is just ending - but it's also the perfect time to remember a couple of things about winter that will make it all the easier to see how perfect to accessories are for your Jeep to make the winter a little less cold and easier to deal with - especially on those blustery, snowy mornings you have to go to work.

Must have number one is a seat warmer. This is definitely a must have for cold weather. Imagine being able to get in your Jeep and feel warm all throughout your body. The seat warmer is made just for your Jeep and carries the Mopar warranty. In each seat warmer kit there are two heater elements (right and left), a switch for each heater element and the "Plug and Play" wiring for this heater kit along with the detailed installation instructions makes installing your seat heaters a breeze.

The next must have for your Jeep is a remote starter. This not only comes in handy in the winter time when you may not necessarily relish the idea of walking out in blowing snow to start your Jeep and go to work, you can have your vehicle started, warmed up and if you leave your seat warmers on, you will be able to get into a nice toasty Jeep to start your day. A great alternative to getting in a cold vehicle! You can be as far away from your vehicle as 800-feet and still be able to start your Jeep with the touch of a button. Another plus is in the summer months, you can have your car started and the air conditioner cracking before you ever set foot in your vehicle.

And those are the two top must have's for your Jeep - if you haven't already added them to your lifestyle, well what are you waiting for?

Use This Simple Gadget to Greatly Lower Your Chances of Causing a Vehicle Accident

You may not be guilty of it but it's happened to you; you're driving up a street and suddenly someone swerves out in front of you - they weren't paying attention they were struggling to hold a cell phone up to their ear while driving. Or you've had the dreaded instant lane change where someone in front of you swerved right into your lane because they didn't see you as they were too busy trying to balance a tiny cell phone on their ear while driving. No matter how good of a driver you are, you too can become a hazard if you attempt to hold a cell phone when driving.

While conventional wisdom says that it is never a good idea to talk on a cell phone at all, important calls are going to happen when you're on the road and you just can't plan emergencies, if someone needs to get in touch with you - they need you right then. Instead of being a hazard on the road, become the good example.

If you have a Jeep year model 2002 or better, you can use some great hands free cell phone technology. UConnect is the exclusive voice-activated, hands-free, in-vehicle communications system for your Jeep and it just uses a small control pad, microphone and speaker. You don't have to take your hands off the wheel of your Jeep to dial or answer you cell phone as it is voice activated. Additionally, the UConnect system will automatically lower or mute your stereo if it is playing so you don't have to fiddle with turning the music down when you're driving. It allows you to store up to 32 names and four numbers per name (128 entries) in the system's phone book, and is flexible enough for an entire family (up to five phones can be linked to the system).

It's possible to be a safe and connected driver when you use the hands free technology that allows you to still get important calls but keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road.

Great Accessories for Families on the Go!

Love to hang out on the weekends with your family?Perhaps you have a couple of children who are involved in anything from sports to music, working out or even scuba diving. With a family that always has so much to do and so many places to go, it is important that you have a great vehicle such as a Jeep, filled with all of the best accessories to make all of your outings run as smooth as possible.

The terrific thing about a Jeep is that it is the kind of vehicle that is always ready when you are, just right for any kind of an excursion. If you have to get your kids to a play in the city and the weather is a mess, you can count on your Jeep to get you there safely. There is always plenty of room inside so you can bring along any gear that you might need for picnics, day trips and so much more. Parents also love having a Jeep so they can hit the grocery store without having to worry if they will have enough room in the car for their purchases.

When you find yourself looking for a little bit of extra space for your Jeep for bicycles, you can easily get hooked up with a great bicycle hitch mount carrier for the back! This is a terrific way to bring along the bikes for the kids when you head off for camping trips, outings at the park and so much more. These hitches mount easily, and you can always feel safe knowing that they are sturdy. With so many things to do with a Jeep, it is no wonder why it is one of the most popular vehicles with busy families.

Keep Your Carpets Looking New!

You bought a Jeep because you were making an investment in your vehicle. You wanted something that would not only be good for daily driving but road tripping too. You take your prized Jeep in for regular oil changes and tune ups along with making sure that any problems are addressed quickly in order to keep it running smoothly. However, do you take just as much care when it comes to keeping the interior in tip top shape?

Most Jeep owners are the kind of people who like to get out and take advantage of everything that Mother Nature has to offer. This will mean heading out for road trips all year long and even braving the elements when the cold and bitter winter weather strikes. While you might have no problem at all when cutting through the snow and ice with your Jeep, you might find it to be a bit difficult trying to keep this mess from coming inside on your feet!

When you are looking to protect the carpets on the floor of your Jeep, help is just as easy as laying down a set of slush-style floor mats. These great floor mats are just the thing that you need in order to hold all of the mess in one place without it being able to escape and stain your carpeting. The floor mats are made from durable material with deep grooves that are just right for keeping your carpet clean all year long. You can even order the slush-style floor mats in either dark taupe or dark slate to match your Jeep's interior.

Start Planning Your Summer Road Trips

Have good weather, will travel! That seems to be a motto that many proud Jeep owners like to live by, especially if they have an assortment of incredible destinations that they like to visit once the weather gets warmer. There is simply nothing as amazing as the feeling you get when you hit the open road in your Jeep.

When you plan your summer road trip, there are going to be several things that you want to keep in mind. Whether you have a planned destination or you are just going to go for a day or to and see where the road takes you, it is always smart to pack appropriately. This will mean bringing along a cell phone, maps for the areas you will be traveling around in as well as a first aid kit including snacks and bottled water. A towel on the seat can make for a much more comfortale ride or if you didn't park in the shade and you're wearing shorts.

If outdoor activities will be in your future, the road trip would not be complete without your mountain bike or a gathering of your hiking gear. Camping as well is always a summertime treat when you hit the road in your Jeep. With a tent and the right supplies, you are definitely on your way for an incredible time that you will remember for years to come.

Just in case you end up getting stuck in a muddy area, you might also want to invest in a winch that will help you out of any kind of sticky situation. Being prepared is always key when you are heading out for summer adventures in your Jeep.

Tips for Traveling With Pets

This article should be more accurately titled, "Tips for Traveling With Dogs" because so few people would ever remotely consider taking their cats for a road trip. Do visions of clawed up vehicle interiors and a yowling kitty for 1,000 miles spring to mind?

So, let's talk dogs. Nearly all dogs are wonderful travelers and they fare much better emotionally by being taken along for the ride instead of left behind where they simply pine and miss you. If you're going to travel with your dog, you're going to need a few things to make his ride safe and comfortable as well as save the interior of your Jeep.

First of all, give him a safe place to ride. A nice, comfy spot in the back of your Jeep with a dog bed of his own to lay on will keep him down and safe. A dog that is jumping from seat to seat is a distraction and worse, if you are in an impact, your canine buddy will be projected forward like a bullet and will run the risk of being seriously injured or even killed. If you love him, secure him. You can use his leash and one of the LATCH hooks in the back that a child's car seat can attach to and you'll keep your dog safe and secure for the ride (not to mention really comfy on his dog bed!).

Next, pit stops for potty breaks are inevitable when you take your pooch along. Never let your dog out without a leash. It may or may not be the law where you are stopping on your road trip; but also even the most well-trained dogs can become spooked and run in a strange place. Don't let your dog be a lost pet statistic. A simple leash will mean the difference between looking for a dog and letting him out to do his business and then back in the Jeep for the rest of the ride. Also, bring along a scooper and bag and dispose of your dog's waste. True, not everyone is polite enough to do it, but you're not like everyone else either.

A portable water and food bowls are a great idea so your dog can stay hydrated and happy along the way!
