Jeep Trikes for Tikes
If you have a little one this is too big for a little push-along riding toy and too little for a bicycle, there is a happy solution that will keep your kiddo smiling all year round; the Jeep Jerry Can Trike is a perfect fit for kids that want a riding toy but aren't big enough for a bicycle just yet. Riding a tricycle is easy and requires very little balance. If your little one can sit up in a chair without toppling out, they have all the balance they need to operate a tricycle. This tricycle also has some fun features that your child will love. The rear mounted jerry can opens for storage and will hold all the "treasures" your little one finds outside. The saddle seat on this tricycle is very comfortable and the handles have easy grip so little hands don't slip off. The knobby wheels provide for extra traction if your child encounters loose gravel or sand when they are out riding and the rubberized pedals make it easy to keep their feet on. Also, this tricycle has a replica JeepĀ® grille and fenders and also has the fun edition of built in electronic sounds and lights. Even a tricycle should only operated under supervision, make sure your child has someone watching them whenever they are riding. Your little one may not be old enough to roll with the big kids, but they can certainly sound and look like they are on a Jeep Jerry Can Trike!

Must Have Accessories for Your Jeep Grand Cherokee
Jeeps are made tough but that doesn't mean that your Jeep Grand Cherokee has to be the slightest bit uncomfortable. There are some great interior accessories available for the 2005-2007 models of the Jeep Grande Cherokee. Here are just a few: Navus Navigation System will prove to be priceless if you enjoy road tripping in your Jeep Grand Cherokee. This navigation system will plot the easiest course to take from point to point and has an easy to read screen and also the option of spoken directions. Navus also has dead-reckoning capability that will seamlessly route the user if the satellite signal is temporarily lost. For the person that loves to download and listen to books and music while they are on the road, an IPod Integration Kit will make a fabulous addition to their Jeep Grand Cherokee. The IPod Integration Kit is easy to install and will make taking your tunes along for the ride easy. Another option for the person that likes to jam while they drive is a Sirius Satellite Radio System. This commercial free radio has thousands of music and talk radio stations - there is truly something for everyone. Another must have is the Jeep Battery Blanket. If you live where the temperatures are frequently in the freezing range, a battery blanket will warm the battery on your Jeep Grand Cherokee and extend the life of your vehicle's battery. As you know it's not safe to attempt to hold or dial a cell phone while you drive. The UConnect Hands Free Cellular System will answer that dilemma with their fully hands free cell phone system. It takes your existing cell phone and once connected to the unit, will allow you to dial, answer and speak over a crystal clear hands free system. Allowing you to keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road. Make your Jeep Grand Cherokee a very comfortable and safe ride with some great additions to the interior of your vehicle.

Traveling with Dogs for the Holidays
If you don't like the idea of leaving your pet behind for the holidays and you don't want the expense of leaving your pet in a kennel or boarding facility; consider taking your pet along for the ride. First of all, clear bringing your pet along with your hosts. They may have dogs that aren't friendly to new furry faces or they simply may not want a dog in their home no matter how well behaved. And speaking of well behaved, if your dog doesn't have the basic manners of being housebroken and knowing how to behave when out as in not jumping on people and especially small children; you might be better suited leaving him at home. However, if your dog is well socialized and behaved, bring him along if you get the green light from your hosts. It's is important that your dog be safe when the vehicle is in motion. Your dog can be a dangerous distraction if he is allowed to move freely about the interior of the car not to mention in the unfortunate incident of an impact, your dog will be hurtled within the car and quick possibly by seriously injured. There are numerous car seats for pets and if you have a Jeep Compass, you can get a cargo area dog bed that comes with a removable and washable cover and you can clip your dog's leash to the overhead interior clips and that will allow him movement to stand up and stretch his legs during the ride but not run around. You can travel in safety and comfort in your Jeep and so can your dog. If you want to spend your holiday season with all family members, including the furry ones; bring your dog along for the ride - you'll be glad you did.

Do You Have a Jeep Rewards Visa?
Consumers have become very savvy shoppers and especially when it comes to their credit cards. The days of credit card companies charging high yearly fees for consumers to use their services are disappearing and more consumers are turning towards credit cards companies that reward their customers by not charging the annual fees. The Jeep Rewards Visa is one such card and not only does it not have an annual fee, it has a myriad of other benefits that are not available with many other credit cards. The Jeep Rewards Visa allows their customers to earn points with every purpose and there is no limit to the points that can be earned, unlike many credit card companies that put it in tiny print that they cap off points at a certain limit. Customers can earn 2,500 reward points on their very first purchase. Additional points are earned at the rate of one point for every dollar spent on online purchases and five points for every dollar spent at the following retailers: JustForJeeps.com, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealerships. (That means $500 in purchases will reward you with a $25 certificate)! You can use your rewards points for any purchase at JustForJeeps.com; or the purchase or lease of a new, used or Five Star Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, parts or service in a Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge dealership: oil changes, tire rotation, body work and more. Your Jeep Rewards Visa can also be used towards your Chrysler Financial vehicle monthly payments and also for the purchase of extended warranties. This card is welcome anywhere in the world that Visa credit cards are accepted and will give you access to cash at over 380,000 ATM machines. If you'd like to reap the real rewards of being a Jeep Rewards Visa customer, please apply by calling Peter at 888-651-JEEP.

If You Get Stranded in Cold Weather
No one plans on getting stuck in cold weather but it happens and if you have kids along for the ride when you get stuck, you can relax a little knowing that you're prepared for it. First of all, put together your own little kit and keep it in your Jeep at all times. Put a few thermal blankets, an LED lantern that runs on batteries not fuel, jumper cables, a basic tool kit, band aids, duct tape, electrical tape, a heavy duty tow strap, road side flairs, a "Help Call Police" sign for your windshield, portable warmers (like hunters and military personnel use) and some people even pick up MRE's (military ready to eat meals) and put them in their Jeep-just in case. The MRE's have a long shelf life so you can toss a few in your kit and forget about them. In the event you are stranded and you are unable to get a signal on your cell phone, you may wind up spending the night in a cold and dark place. If you're traveling with kids, they will feel a lot better if you have a lantern handy and everyone can cuddle up with extra blankets. If there is a chance of traffic on the road you're on - put up the sign in your windshield and you can use a roadside flair to make sure your vehicle is visible to any traffic passing by. You can stay warm by popping open the warmers and given one to each child. The warmers work by creating a chemical reaction that will generate heat for roughly two hours. They are available in most military and outdoor supply stores. There are a lot of things you can do to prepare for the unexpected. Your Jeep was built to handle the most extreme of conditions, however there may come a situation that even your Jeep can't handle. Don't get caught off guard, be prepared and you and your kids will come through it with flying colors.

Upgrading Your Kid's Backpack
So, at the beginning of the school year you bought a backpack for your kid that was a bargain. Now that you're a few months into the school year, you may have noticed your child's backpack is starting to tear, fray and otherwise look worn. Kids use their backpacks to haul everything they need back and forth to school and this can be in the form of school books from multiple classes, papers, binders and other materials. This can create quite a weight and if the backpack isn't up to the challenge of doing this every single day of the school year, you're going to wind up replacing your kid's backpack more than once in the school year and in a case like that, it makes good economical sense to invest in a backpack that will not only be durable enough to last through one school year of faithful service to your child but quite possibly the following years as well. The Jeep Silverstone Backpack is 17-inches high and will hold a ton of stuff. The backpack is made of durable, water-resistant, 600-denier polyester and features the Jeep logo in PVC on the front pocket. The straps are double stitched and the entire backpack will hold up to a lot of use from your child. If you were just thinking today that your child's backpack was looking more than a little raggedly, give them a backpack that they can be proud to carry and it is made to Jeep's high standards of quality and lasting performance.

Planning a Romantic Weekend
Something that all couples should make time for at least once in a while, is a romantic weekend, if your mutual schedules won't allow for a full weekend getaway, make it a night alone with no hassles from work, drop the kids off at their grandparents for the night or weekend, turn off your cell phones, leave your lap tops at home and get rid of any other interruptions. You can either camp out in a cabin in the woods or beat the rental fees and use a tent that attaches to your Jeep. Either way will work out beautifully. Take along a bottle of wine, some light snacks such as a loaf of crusty bread, crackers and cheese, just put them in a cooler and they'll stay nice and cool until you're ready to use them. Candles will make a soft glow or you can opt for a lantern turned down low. If the weather is chilly, snuggle up by a warm fire or bring along a battery operated heater. Getting back to the basics can breathe new life into a relationship that was feeling a little stale due to the fact you and your sweetheart simply never get a moment of time for yourselves. Don't talk about anything too deep, forget you have jobs and leave your stress factors at home; just enjoy the time you're spending together and you'll find you will reclaim those feelings of love you thought you lost. Make some time to schedule a weekend or at least a night out in the wilderness with your favorite person and rediscover all the things you love about each other.

Tips For a Tail Gate Party
Football season brings us the tailgate party and if you've put off having one with your friends, it's easy to plan and pull one off. Food will be the center focus of a tailgate party and have a lot of different munchies on hand for everyone to enjoy. The idea is that everyone pitches in and contributes something to make the tailgate party a huge success. If your job is to bring the refreshments, you can't go wrong with a Jeep Freeze-Zone. This roomy cooler is made to fit in your Jeep and will hold half a case of your favorite beverage. There is also an adjustable-tension bungee storage system, padded and expandable cell phone pocket, and zippered front pocket organizer. Shoulder strap contains unique gel-filled pad to provide comfortable transport so if you want to visit a few other tail gate parties in the parking lot, it's easy to bring along your drinks. Other items to bring along for a tail gate party include a small portable grill, burgers or dogs, buns, chips, side dishes such as mashed potatoes and corn on the cob, desserts that travel well such as brownies and many people bring finger foods such as crackers and cheese or cheese filled celery sticks. It's easy to get a tail gate party together. Whether it is a college game or an NFL playoff, gather up your gang and enjoy a fun tail gate party.
