Jeep Liberty Review

The folks over at Carwad.net had a great review of the Jeep Liberty Limited. They have put out some details about this vehicle, but I’ll try to give a short recap.
First off, most folks dont ever use their Jeep off road. Its bought for the manliness of the Jeep brand. Potholes and snow are the biggest reasons people like the Jeep brand. This Liberty was completely redone for 2008, and would be considered a huge change. Some folks say it looks a lot like the old Jeep Commanders. It is however enhanced with chrome!
Like a lot of vehicles these days, there is a lot of plastic on the inside. Considering the price, the tester thought it was wasnt up to par on the interior. Sound proofing was an area he commented about. There are more storage compartments, but the back seat was not very spacious.
The engine has 210 horsepower in a V6, which makes for a nice ride, but it could have had a little more power according to the tester. The fuel rating was not as great, but it was done in liters: 13 liters per 100 kilometers. Someone else can do the conversion on that one.
The Liberty tester complained about the center of gravity and thought the vehicle was a bit unstable. Stiff suspension as usual, the vehicle comes with Hill Descent Control (HDC) and the Command Trac II four wheel drive system.
Whether you are dropping the kids off to school or off-roading to your hearts content, you will love the feel of this Jeep!
